Fix problems in a run
First read the exact message in the game or server area. It often tells you whether a server is waiting, the run is paused, or settings do not fit together.
You cannot connect to Sparkane
Check the server address. If you play Bedrock, check the port too. Follow the join steps for Java, Bedrock, or console.
Your configurator code has expired
- 1Return to the lobby and talk to the Personal Server NPC.
- 2Open the configurator again.
- 3Use the new link or code to choose your server settings.
Your server will not start or is missing
Open the Personal Server area in the lobby and check its state. For Waiting, wait briefly and look again. For Offline, start it again. If the server expired, check a rank upgrade with more lifetime or create a new server. If it cannot be reached before expiry, tell support the state shown.
A friend cannot join
The host should check /invitelist and invite the player with their exact in-game name. The friend reconnects afterwards. A party or friendship alone does not give server access. An invite does not create space when the run is full.
A command or option is missing
Check spelling and whether you are in the right run. In Challenge runs, you cannot break blocks before the start or while the run is paused. In a paused run the backpack is read-only. /resourcepack or /rp only toggles the supplementary resource pack.
If an option is missing, check its message: it may need a higher rank or it may not work with a rule selected for this run.
The run will not continue
Use /timer status to check whether the run is paused. The chat message after /timer resume shows whether the countdown began. The run continues after it. Before resetting, talk about whether you need a new server: a reset does not change the existing world.
