Minecraft challenge

Damage Clears Inventory

Taking damage can leave your whole inventory empty. Before every fight, decide which items you are willing to risk.

How to start your run
  • Java & Bedrock
  • Private server
  • No extra mods

Damage can clear everything

One hit can cost you all your gear

Taking damage during the run can make all your items disappear. By default, you also lose the armor you are wearing. A fully blocked hit does not count.

Permanent Item does not protect you from losing items this way: it keeps items after death, but does not prevent damage from clearing them.

Your armor is removed by default too. Your run choices decide which damage types count.

Example round: you have gathered iron, food and armor. A skeleton hits you at a cave entrance and your items are gone. A fall or fire can count too when that damage type is not excluded. You start by finding basic equipment again.

02Split important supplies
You and your friends can share key items so one loss does not remove everything.
03Use a shield and cover
Block attacks and retreat before continuing a fight with only a few hearts left.
