Minecraft challenge
Giant
Your player model becomes one and a half times as large by default. Doors, tunnels and fights suddenly need more room.
- Java & Bedrock
- Private server
- No extra mods
Bigger means checking routes
You are bigger, the world stays the same
During the challenge, you are one and a half times as large as usual by default. Doors, low tunnels and cramped rooms therefore offer less space.
A normal two-block-high tunnel can now be too low. Make the entrance taller or find another route. After the challenge, you return to your previous size.
By default, you are one and a half times as large as usual. Run settings can change that.
Example round: you try to enter your mine but get stuck at the low entrance. You use your pickaxe to raise the ceiling by one block and can get through again.

What to expect from your run
- Rule complexity
- Watch your 1.5× size and check low routes before entering them.
- Experience
- Spotting low doors and tunnels early, then leaving room to fight, helps.
- Time commitment
- A detour or rebuild takes time when a door or tunnel is too low.
Before the bottleneck
Tips for Giant
A quick look up can save you from a route that leaves you stuck.
- 01Check tunnels from outside
- Look at the entrance height before walking your larger player model inside.
- 02Keep fighting areas open
- Leave room to dodge sideways so you do not catch on walls or doors.
- 03Bring a pickaxe
- Bring a pickaxe to make low tunnels taller. A few blocks can also help you build a new entrance.
